Embedding Sales Skills

CLIENT: International Hotel Chain: helping new habits become engrained ... Team Briefs ... quizzes, discussions and case studies ... completed in half an hour ... easy to follow and effective.

Having recently completed a major sales training programme, the hotel chain wanted to ensure that its sales teams continued to implement the techniques they had learned. Members of the Hiltrain team were asked to devise a way of keeping the new learning at the forefront of people's minds day to day and of helping new habits to become engrained.

We produced a series of Team Briefs to be conducted monthly by the team leaders during their regular team meetings. These briefs were varied to avoid their becoming tedious, and included quizzes, discussions and case studies. The activities were designed to be completed in half an hour or less. All the briefs were kept simple and full instructions were included for the team leaders, who found them easy to follow and effective.
